NED vs GER EURO 2012

Germany won against Netherlands with 2-1. The match started off with Mario Gomez (GER) scored 2 goals on the first half. Yes, 2 goals. He's the one who scored the victory goal during Germany vs Portugal 1-0. This guy is no doubt dangerous. At the second half of the game, a lot of substitution in the Netherlands player. Afellay was replaced by Huntelaar and Van Bommel (Captain) was replaced by Van Der Vaart. As the Netherlands fan felt there's no hope of winning, Van Persie then made the first goal in Euro 2012 for the Netherlands team at the 73rd minute of the match. Suddenly the Netherlands felt like they're back on track! Sneijder (NED) almost scored a goal but out of no where, Boateng (GER) came slides in taking one for the team, he got hit in the ribs by the ball that was kicked by Sneijder. "It hurts but that's what you have to do for the team" the announcer said about Boateng's action. Mario Gomez was then replaced by Klose (GER). At the 83rd minute, Arjen Robben was replaced by Kuyt (NED). Robben doesn't look pleased with it. Instead of going straight to the bench, he hopped out of the field and left. Based on his body language he looks pissed being substitute.

Well, I have a few theories on why the Netherlands lost... 2 matches. If you guys watched World Cup 2010, you would definitely see how different Netherlands are now. The players are still the same, but you don't see team work. Robben is being greedy, he doesn't team up with Van Persie to score any goals, he wants to earn it himself. Stekelenburg the Goal Keeper seems out of place. He was 10 times better in World Cup 2010. Though the possession of the ball is satisfied, but I don't see chemistry at all when seeing them play. What happened to the Netherlands 2 years ago who qualified into finals and beat Diego Forlan Uruguay's ass? What happened to Bleed Oranje? But I am also kind of proud of our Robin, for scoring a goal, without a Batman :)
